One 100cc absorber will remove the oxygen from an EMPTY pint mason jar.
Two 100cc absorbers will remove the oxygen from an EMPTY quart mason jar.
Three 100cc absorbers will remove the oxygen from a one-gallon Mylar bag (this is due to the bag”s shape, which eliminates unnecessary volume.
Eight 100cc absorbers will remove the oxygen from a one-gallon mason jar.
When using your absorbers, make every effort to minimize their exposure to air, which contains about 21% oxygen.
*Do not use oxygen absorbers with sugar or brown sugar as it dries them out.
THREE WAYS TO STORE: 1.
After opening the vacuum sealed bag, you can simply take what you need and reseal the original bag with your vacuum sealer.

Place the absorbers in one or more air-tight canning jar and displace as much of the air as possible before screwing the lid on tight.
If you have a jar attachment, the ideal method is to vacuum seal the jar.
This also allows easy access.
3.
Place the absorbers in one or more Mylar bags and vacuum seal.
*After first opening, it”s a good idea to disperse the absorbers into several bags or jars to limit exposure from repeated openings.
