Product Description :
Want soft, easy to spread butter without waiting for the butter to soften? has your solution with out Butter Crock.
The idea has actually been in use for 100”s of years.
You simply fill the top portion of the butter crock with butter (holds just over 1/2 Cup of butter) and add enough water to the base (approx.
1/2 cup is recommended).
This creates an airtight seal when the top portion is placed onto the base.
The airtight seal is the “magic” that allows you to have room temperature spreadable butter without your butter going rancid while retaining that fresh sweet taste that butter should have.
HINTS: Change the water in the base every 2-3 days.
Keep the Butter Crock away from natural sources of heat such as the back of the fridge, stovetop and places where direct sunlight will hit.
Without airconditioning in warmer climates we have found that the Butter will begin to soften too much and fall into the water in the base.
Pull out a stick of butter from the fridge and wait for it to softer.
Use a knife press butter in tightly to the top of the butter crock.
We often use the wrapper on the stick of butter to press the butter into the top portion and then use a knife to finish pressing any excess air out.
Enjoy!
