Dough comes off the mold easy, just don’t roll it too thinly.
Make sure to flour it well before placing the dough on it to make it easier for them to fall out.
Just put some oil and start making delicious pelmeni .
Froze them, huge time saver vs hand molding/folding.
This is a time saver.
When knocking out dumplings, it not breaks .
So why it would be too small for typical ravioli Because not only it”s not made for that.
It”s specific for “Russian ravioli” which are basically more like mini dumplings.
When the water is boiling, add a heavy teaspoon of salt and add the ravioli/pelmeni.
Cook some up, sourcream and chives, and dinner is served !The first 1-2 minutes stir immediately so none of the ravioli stick to the bottom of the pot or to each other.
Or your can place on the board or parchment and store in the fridge between cookings.
You can make a large batch at one time for great family fun when everyone can get involved and make perfect dumplings.
