The Solid Wood Practice Samurai Bokken is a display-only model of a training sword intended as a relatively safe and inexpensive substitute for a real blade. It’s crafted from oak wood and has a smooth appearance. The handle is an extension of the wooden blade area separated only by an attached ring that allows you to form a firm grip around it. This 40" replica is used for traditional Japanese martial arts during the early stages of laid and before it’s safe to begin laity. The only exception is when kata is performed by two people. During this phase, the veteran laid Oka will use a bokken sword. This quality piece will look outstanding inside a glass case or mounted on a wall for all to admire.
