First Aid Antiseptic, Merthiolate Decolorized, Mercury Free, Bottle 1 OZ Misc: Merthiolate decolorized. Mercury free. Uses: First aid to help prevent skin infection in minor cuts; scrapes; burns. For Adults and Children 2 Years of Age and Older: Clean the affected area. Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily. May be covered with a sterile bandage. If bandage, let dry first. May be covered with a sterile bandage. For Children Under 2 Years of Age: Consult a doctor. Warnings: For external use only. Flammability warning: Flammable – Keep away from spark, heat & fire. Keep out of reach of children. Other warnings: Soaps will deactivate the effects of this product. If redness, irritation, swelling or pain persists or increases, or if infection, rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
