The Aqua Fresh WF700 Replacement Water Filter For LG LT700P / Kenmore 9690 is designed to purify the unclean water and make it suitable for drinking. Steps to Install the replacement filter without any extra tools.:

• Turn off the water source to the Refrigerator.
• At the back of the Refrigerator, you will find a mount on the inside with the old filter.
• Twist and rotate the filter in partly counter-clockwise direction and gently remove it from the mount.
• Insert the new filter onto the mount and push it until it fits. Now partly rotate the filter in clockwise direction.
• The status display of the water filter needs to be re-tuned after installing the filter.
• Let enough water be flushed through the filter, until clear water flows out.

The filter needs to be installed correctly, so that the water gets filtered out well. It is always better to replace the filter after a period of 180 days to avoid health related concerns.
