The LH surge occurs approximately24-36 hours prior to the release of an egg from the ovary – a process known asovulation. You are at your most fertile on the day your LH surge is detectedand the day after. Unlike basal body temperature method (BBT), Accu-ClearOvulation Test indicates that ovulation is about to happen. BBT rises afterovulation has occurred. Having sex on the day your LH surge is detected andthe day after maximizes your chances of getting pregnant.
