Fasco Epoxies Cabosil’s Main use is for thickening of resin to create a putty. Controls sag and allows work on overhead surfaces. Can create non-sag putty. Increases the hardness of resin.
- Hydrophilic surface
- When blended into sticky and poorly flowing powder systems, Cabosil reduces angle of repose and improves powder flow.
- Can be used for reinforcement of silicone rubber and can be used to reinforce organic rubbers
- Imparts good increase in hardness, tensile and elongation. Imparts significant increase in viscosity in liquid systems
- Also referred to as colloidal or fumed silica
