The FORMUFIT 1/2 in. Internal Furniture Grade PVC Coupling in Purple gives you the ability to extend and connect segments of PVC pipe seamlessly. This internal-fit PVC coupler adjoins two (2) segments of 1/2 in. Schedule 40 PVC pipe in-line to allow you to extend pipe to longer lengths, or create break down or knock down points on PVC assemblies. With its furniture grade construction, this coupler is designed to be used in nearly any application, including full weather exposure and outdoor use. Injection molded using engineered plastics, including UV resistance and impact resistance properties, this PVC coupling will not change color, fade, crack or become brittle even in years of direct sunlight and abuse. This internal coupling is compatible with standard 1/2 in. Schedule 40 PVC plumbing pipe or with FORMUFIT 1/2 in. Furniture Grade PVC Pipe. The internal-fit sockets of this coupling have an actual outside diameter of 0.622”, which directly matches the inside diameter of 1/2 in. Size PVC pipe for a secure and tight fit. This coupling is a great solution where basic 40” or 60” lengths of pipe are not quite long enough. Use these couplings to extend those lengths of pipe easily, with little to no seam exposed. Can be connected together permanently using standard clear PVC cement or temporarily by press-to-fit. This product is not NSF rated for plumbing applications or installations, however it is approved for fluid handling in hydroponics, aquaponics, residential irrigation and aquarium use. Does not contain any heavy metals, phthalates or dioxins and safe for use with children and pets. Made in USA from US-sourced PVC resins.
