The Hyper Tough TD35082C Straight Blade Plug Replacement – Male is a two pole, three wire grounding plug connector. This replacement plug is designed for industrial applications making it durable enough to last even the harshest residential uses. This male electrical plug connector, made from impact resistant polystyrene, is ideal for replacing worn or broken plugs on extension cords. It is easy to install. This replacement plug was made to withstand harsh environments and it matches standard RV outlets. Molded ridges along the exterior of the plug create an ideal surface to assist with plug removal from the outlet. The wiring module is keyed to body (slotted channel) for easy assembly and a tight fit. Three U-Type fast-threading triple drive steel screws secure the wiring module to the body. The internal wiring chambers isolate individual conductors to prevent flashovers, arcing, and excessive heat buildup. Long, deep channels guide conductors and prevent binding or weakening of the wire. The molded in-guide shows correct wire stripping length (approximately 1/4"). Solid brass blades and contacts provide excellent conductivity. Color coded levers enable terminal identification at a glance to reduce wiring errors (Brass/Hot, Silver/Neutral and Green/Ground).
