Made from a full-bodied black Assam, our Night of the Iguana Chocolate Chai tea is as intricate as it is delicious. Named after American playwright Tennessee Williams famous play, this tea was developed to be as equally as complex as his famous drama. White chocolate, caramel, and spices from the Malibar Coast of India, like ginger, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper are added to give this tea the spice it deserves.
For a perfect brew, we recommend bringing freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place a heaping teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot and pour boiling water over the leaves. Let steep for at least 7 minutes, to bring out the "true" chai taste. While the tea is steeping, prepare your cup – use about 2 teaspoons of sugar, and fill about 20% of the cup’s volume with milk.
