Procedure When you are removing the metal band of the lower first molar, put the white plastic part of the pliers on the chewing surface of the tooth and engage the edge of the other part under the metal band at the gum side. Once it is engaged, simply press the pliers and the band will be out. We recommend you watch the video before attempting it. Please note: For the lower molars, approach the tooth from the cheek side of the tooth, and for the Upper molar teeth approach from the palatal side. This will make your job a lot easy. The leftover cement can be removed with our other pliers named adhesive removing pliers
