Nelisco Urine Reagent strips are made of firm plastic strips to which different reagent are affixed. This includes Urine Glucose test strips. The use of urine Glucose test strip is vital in determining the level of Glucose (Sugar) in the urine. To determine the level of Glucose in the urine, the reagent part of the strips must be immersed in a fresh urine sample; remove the strips quickly from the urine to avoid dissolving of the reagent in the urine, while removing the strip, touch the side of the strip against the urine container to remove excess urine from the strip. Use paper towel to further absorb excess urine from lengthwise strip. The reaction of the reagent on the strips will cause the color of the test area to change from blue green to greenish blown through brown and dark brown. The optimal result is obtained by comparing the color change on the strip to the color chart.
