JVCC PPT-25C Polyester Circuit Plating / Silicone Splicing Tape: 3/8 in. x 72 yds. (Clear)

JVCC PPT-25C Tape is a 1 mil polyester film coated with 1.5 mils of pre-cured silicone adhesive. It is designed to be fully stable electrically and mechanically at operating temperatures up to 350F. The adhesive is cured to provide maximum resistance to chemicals and leaves no residue during masking or holding applications. Excellent resistance to abrasives, acids, oils, aging, staining, and water immersion. Used as outer wrap on coils, capacitors, motors, and transformers and for masking in electroplating, anodizing, and PC boards. It can also be used to splice silicone-coated paper and films.

NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product’s actual size is 9.5mm wide. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user’s responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
