Designed for outstanding low-temperature protection as well as resistance to thermal breakdown at high operating temperatures, Formula Shell Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil exceeds all automobile and light truck warranty requirements for gasoline and gasoline turbocharged engines, and may be used at any time in an engine’s life-cycle.

It aids in protection against harmful deposits and acids to keep your engine clean. Formula Shell Synthetic provides a balance between reducing engine deposits to extend the life of your engine while providing protection against LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition) in modern direct-injection turbocharged engines (based on ASTM Sequence IX engine test).

Formula Shell Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil is designed to meet or exceed the North American warranty requirements for U.S., European, and Japanese cars and light trucks with gasoline and gasoline turbocharged engines meeting API SP and all previous categories.
