Why do I need a stud detector?

When you want to buy a new TV, hang a new picture on the wall or decorate the house, but accidentally break the AC power cord when you make a hole in the wall, you need to call an electrician to repair it. It is also dangerous if you come into contact with wires.
But don’t worry, this stud scanner is an upgraded 8-in-1 wall-mounted scanner with 8 scanning modes. Easily detect whether there is an object behind the wall to help you avoid these troubles.

Step 1: Calibration tool is needed every time you scan the wall
Place it on the wall steadily, and then press the scan button. The LCD will display the process of signal strength changing from strong to weak (the horizontal bar gradually decreases), and you need to hear a beep. When you don’t know the thickness of the wall, you can use Stud 1/2″-> Stud 1″-> Stud 1 1/2″ to try scanning.
The metal scan mode and AC line scan mode need to be calibrated in an open place away from metal and wires. To ensure accuracy, the product cannot be rotated after calibration.

Step 2: Move slowly to scan the wall
You need to press the scan button to slowly move along the wall. If you leave the horizontal line, please recalibrate the product. The LCD screen signal changes and voice prompts help you quickly find the position of the stud

Step 3: Follow the prompts
When the signal is full and the buzzer is the loudest, it means that the center point has been found. Mark a mark on the top of the stud detector with a pencil.

When you need to scan metal or AC wires according to the above steps, after marking with a pencil, you need to recalibrate the metal or AC wire scanning mode, and then return to the marked point to scan
