While visiting Tijuana, Mexican-American Gloria (Gina Rodriguez) is kidnapped by a violent drug cartel and forced to work for them, smuggling cash across the border. She soon becomes caught between the cartel and the DEA, and with neither side particularly concerned for her safety, Gloria must learn to fend for herself if she hopes to make it out alive.
