Sansevieria Boncel Baby, also known as a snake plant or Mother-in-law’s tongue, is the genus name for this charming type of succulent plant. This resilient variety is an upright species with impressive ripples of variegation across each thick, pointed leaf. Also known as “starfish Sansevieria,” this is a rare and compact variety of Sansevieria, growing much shorter than other varieties and featuring petite, robust leaves that are lighter in color. Snake plants like this one are perfect for beginners to houseplants because they are extremely difficult to kill and can easily survive drought and dimly lit environments. As it matures, a Sansevieria plant may feature small, white blooming flowers. Snake plants are remarkably versatile and commonly displayed in decorative pots, hanging planters, planter boxes, and much more. Arrange them on a plant stand or plant shelf to show off their charming features. Keep these succulents happy by planting them in a well-draining soil and watering them about once every other week. Snake plants can thrive as indoor or outdoor plants due to their tolerance of moderate to bright light, but they do best when kept in a partially shaded area out of direct sunlight. Each snake plant ships fully rooted in a 2.5 inch grow pot.
