With mosquitos carrying new diseases every single year, you want to protect yourself from getting bitten by them or other insects that may frequest your home or outdoor setting. Mosquitoes (even in the dark) can easily locate where a person is by sensing carbon dioxide and temperature that he/she is emitting. They also react with extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) rays. Using these habits of mosquitoes, the photocatalyst mosquito trap can act as a decoy to capture mosquitos in a bright indoor setting, or a dark outdoor setting. 

The trap is engineered to protect in 3 ways:
