Optional: Rinse rice in water until water becomes clear. 3. Bring water to boil in a saucepan. 4. Stir in rice, cover with lid, simmer on low for 15-20 minutes or until moisture is absorbed. 5. Remove from heat, fluff and serve. Note: For softer rice add 1/4 cup more water and cook for 5 minutes longer. For firmer rice add 1/4 cup less water and cook for 5 minutes less. Rice Cooker: 1.
