This premier coffee is grown on small, family-owned farms surrounding the active Galeras volcano in Nariño, Colombia. This variety’s production cycle is labor intensive. After being hand picked, the beans are washed, fermented and dried before being transported to the city of Pasto for final processing, sorting and grading. The farmers take great pride in growing, picking, and preparing this coffee and we take great pride in sharing the results of their hard work.
