Instructions: Remove wooden top from device, place fiber pad onto fan, add up to 5 drop of liquid essential oil onto the fiber pad, and replace wooden cover. Plug into 120 VAC electrical outlet OR use with 2 AAA batteries and press power button to turn unit "ON". Please note that when powered with batteries the unit will automatically turn off after 30 minutes to save battery life.
