Heartburn in children may sometimes be caused by a serious condition.  <\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong>WARNINGS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Allergy alert:<\/strong> Do not use if you are allergic to omeprazole<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not use if you have:<\/strong><br \/>\u2022 trouble or pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stools<br \/>\u2022 heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating or dizziness<br \/>\u2022 chest pain or shoulder pain with shortness of breath; sweating; pain spreading to arms, neck or shoulders; or lightheadedness<br \/>\u2022 frequent chest pain<br \/>These may be signs of a serious condition. See your doctor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask a doctor before use if you have:<\/strong><br \/>\u2022 had heartburn over 3 months. This may be a sign of a more serious condition.<br \/>\u2022 frequent wheezing, particularly with heartburn<br \/>\u2022 unexplained weight loss<br \/>\u2022 nausea or vomiting<br \/>\u2022 stomach pain<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask a doctor or pharmacist before<\/strong> use if you are taking a prescription drug.
